FOUNDRY  S A N D

Unimin Core and Mould Foundry sands are produced from high purity, monocrystalline industrial quartz. They are dry, chemically inert, and free of clays or other organic materials. Particle Size Distribution is carefully controlled.
Unimin sands can significantly improve a foundry's dimensional accuracy, mould and core making efficiency, and production cost.

COAL DUST
Unimin coal dusts are finely milled with low sulphur content.
Used in mould facing, or as moulding sand additive they assist in improving the surface finish of castings.
Unimin coal dusts help to reduce defects such as: scabbing,metal penetration, piping, internal porosity and pinholes.
